November Luncheon—Our Speaker for the November Luncheon is Jordan Steller from Premier Vein and Vascular. They are a practice specializing in the treatment of arterial and venous diseases. She will speak about the importance of recognizing the signs and symptoms of vascular disease and certain family or individual history of other types of diseases that can create or make symptoms worse such as: leg pain, cramping, leg swelling, skin discoloration around the calves and ankles, and visible varicose/spider veins to name a few.
Their practice consists of a Vascular Surgeon, a Family Practice Physician, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Medical Assistants and a dedicated behind the scenes team who provide excellent care with exceptional results for the continued quality of life our patients deserve.
Jordan Steller, MHA, Owner and Director, will be speaking on behalf of Premier Vein & Vascular. She will be accompanied by Marci Moore, who will be providing a demonstration on one or two lucky members while we speak and answer questions. We look forward to meeting everyone and thank you for the opportunity of letting us show you why “We are so Vein.”

“Pink Is Beautiful” Fundraiser: What A Day! — Patti Jucha
Wow! Wow! Wow! We are BEYOND EXCITED to announce that we had a crowd of over 130 and raised over $17,800! What an accomplishment.
Through the generosity of area businesses and individuals, and the members and guests who attended the “Pink Is Beautiful” Fundraiser, we raised over $17,800 in support of the Mammography Voucher Program (MVP) of Pinellas County. MVP provides free mammograms and treatment to low-income men and women living in Pinellas County. The IEWC has now contributed over $97,000 in the past 14 years to this worthwhile charity.
A Special Thanks to Lori Lenhart from Allori Blow Dry Bar for her contribution to our efforts. Lori donated 10% of all services the week prior to the fundraiser, and her sister company, Canadian Med, matched the donation! Together they donated $850. Now that’s a true partner.
Another special THANKS to the Clearwater Yacht Club. In addition to donating two 3-month memberships worth $1,200, they also donated $500. So generous!
BJs Restaurant and Brewhouse, Hurricane Eddie’s and PDQ Restaurant also donated to our efforts by holding Fundraiser Nights, donating a portion of the proceeds from that night to support MVP.
Attendees took home great prizes from the Silent Auction, Pick A Prize and Ribbon Tree. Thanks to members who donated prizes: Sharyn Antico, Debbie Christofferson, Michelle Chenault, Laura Yeager, Vivian Smith and Kristin Vincelli, Lori Lenhart, Genevieve Fortunato and Melanie Cordonnier.
The hit of the day was our Home Goods Display. A delicious array and beautiful display of baked goods and homemade honey that rivaled any bakery. Thanks to Karin Stewart, Joan Landreth, Nancy Page, Angi Trapp, Pam Olipra, Dana Wislocki, Pat Campbell, Nancy Kratz, Louise Barrett and Jean Fullerton for their delicious creations.
Thanks to the IEWC Board for their hard work on this event, and to all of the many volunteers who helped wrap the prizes, set up and Staffed the stations and secured prizes. A special shout out to our Reservations Chair, Karin Stewart, for her patience and attention to detail.
A HUGE THANKS to our Elite Sponsors: Already Gone Travel, BayStar Restaurant Group, Cassi & Co Fashions, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Clear Sky Beachside Café, Clearwater Yacht Club, FLOK by Bekim, Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, JW Marriott Clearwater Beach, Karaoke by GlenZ, Lala’s Comfortably Elegant Living, Michelle Chenault Beach Island Group, PRP Wine International, The Brown Boxer Pub & Grille, Shephard’s Beach Resort, Clearwater Beach, and Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach.
We could not have done it without ALL of you; thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
