To the sweet ladies of IEWC,
It’s Spring here and the flowers are welcoming us. Please join us at Bon Appetit for our Scholarship Luncheon. This month’s 5 O’clock Somewhere is at DeLuka’s Restaurant and our Field Trip is Tampa Bay Downs. The 2024-2025 Slate of Executive Officers are presented in this newsletter, and the proposed revisions to the Bylaws are attached to this newsletter. It is very important to the club for you to review these documents and join us in April to vote on both the slate and bylaw revisions.

From Your Reservation Chair, Karin Stewart
Please send Luncheon Reservations and your check to IEWC c/o Mrs. Karin Stewart, 225 Windward Island, Clearwater, FL 33767. The deadline for reservations is 12 noon on Wednesday, April 24th. There is a white locked mailbox at my home, 225 Windward Island that you can easily drop off your reservation and check. All checks must be received prior to the luncheon.

Treasurer’s Report ending October 31st.
The Operating Account balance for the end of March was $27,872.00.
Corresponding Secretary’s Report
This month a Get-Well Card was sent to Mecia Bingham.
We are in need of a new Treasurer.
The Treasurer is responsible for all monies belonging to the Club. Duties include:
· Maintain Quick Books, keeping an itemized accounting of all deposits and expenditures; run monthly reconciliations and accounting reports
· Responsible for funds at fundraisers and remitting monies raised to charities. Responsible for club iPad and preparing for use at fundraiser
· Download credit card transaction information and categorize in Quick Books
· Conduct bank business
· Pay luncheon bills
· Attend monthly Board meetings and provide financial reports
· Pay receipted bills
· Prepare annual budget
· Submits year end information to CPA for tax preparation
· Obtains Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service solicitation report

We are now 215 members strong! Welcome to all of the new members and a congratulations to Nancy Champion, Anna Faklis, Candace Gardner, Linda Garrity, Sharon Givens, Sally Mindell, Jan Nagy, Patricia Ostrosky, Sue Speck, Dianne Stebbins, Sonja Stefanadis, and Mary Ann Young for over 25 years of membership in the IEWC!
Membership is now on an annual basis. This means that dues are payable every 12 months from the date you last paid them. You will receive an email a few weeks before your due date so you know they are due again. Please keep a record of your payment so that you do not pay twice. Any duplicate payment will be applied to the following year. If you are not sure if your membership is due, please email me (pattijucha@yahoo.com) and I will let you know. Membership Dues are still just $26 a year for all members; $27 if paid online.

From Your Fundraiser Chair
We are BEYOND EXCITED to announce that a record 190 members and guests attended our March Fundraiser at the beautiful Belleair Country Club and raised almost $16,500! What an accomplishment!
Through the generosity of area businesses and individuals, these funds will be awarded to young women graduating from Clearwater High School for help with their college expenses.
Attendees took home great prizes from the Silent Auction, Pick A Prize and Tassel Tree. Thanks to the members who donated prizes: Michelle Chenault, Laura Yeager, Laurie Balla, Cathy Rosenkranz, Debbie Christofferson, Joan Landreth, Paula Cole, Lori Lenhart, Katie Walker and Genevieve Fortunato.
Thanks to Cassi and Company who helped us with a fantastic Fashion Show; to Alissa Craig, our Fashion Show Coordinator, and our DJ GlenZ. And to the wonderful models: Rosemarie Sellnow, Kelly Livingstone, Laura Ragans, Jen Rutherford, Candace Gardner and Angi Trapp. A special thanks to Karin Stewart for all of the work that goes into doing reserved tables and for heading up the Bake Sale. And to all the members who baked and made home goods; the display looked like a French patisserie!

Our Field Trip for April is the ever-popular Tampa Bay Downs on Wednesday, April 17th. The cost is $32.25 per person, if paying by check or #33.75 if paying online by credit card. We will meet at the entrance at 11:00 am. Our lunch will be served at 11:30 and racing will begin about 12:30. Parking, a program, admission and lunch are all included. 2025 IEWC Annual Cruise
Our next cruise will be February 1—8, 2025 on the beautiful Celebrity Apex.
We will all be in Aqua Class. Cruise rate is $2,073.89 per person. The Classic Drink package and Basic Wi-Fi is included. Aqua class cabins provide you with Spa privileges. We also have our own specialty restaurant, Blu, to dine together.
